CCMBC Legacy Fund is seeking a full-time Accounting Technician to work in our Winnipeg office at 1310 Taylor Avenue. While our preference is for this to be a full-time role, we may consider offering flexible hours or a part-time position.

Position Information
Position Title: Accounting Technician
Reports to: Accounting Manager
Term: Permanent with a three-month probationary period

Scope of Position

  • Perform accounting tasks and support for Accounting Services clients
  • Perform accounting tasks for CCMBC Legacy accounting department
  • Other duties as required

Key Responsibilities

  • Day to day bookkeeping –including but not limited to Payables & Receipts
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Financial Statements
  • Producing Donation Receipts
  • Setting up new churches in CCMBC Legacy Accounting Systems: Dynamics & Raiser’s Edge
  • Government reporting such as completing the T3010, GST/HST Rebates, and T4As
  • Other duties as required –including but not limited to special projects and providing additional support within CCMBC Legacy as needs arise due to vacations, vacancy or otherwise.

Professional/Technical Background

  • Post-Secondary accounting training
  • Experience using Microsoft Office products (Excel, Access, Word, Outlook). An intermediate level user of Microsoft Excel is preferred.
